Broadcast Band Rejection Filters

Removes BCB interference on Amateur & SWL receivers & transceivers
Local AM Broadcast stations can often cause havoc with HF and VHF radio equipment. Symptoms include induced carriers, modulation, broadband noise, modulation "thumping" and other disturbances. Such interference can frequently be heard mixing with other signals in the shortwave bands which commonly overwhelm receiver front ends. Broadcast rejection filters reduce AM signals to levels where local stations can still be received, but won't bother other signals.
The I402X is a highpass design which rejects all signals below 1.8 MHz. This filter can be used with either HF receivers or transceivers, connecting in-line with the antenna coax. Handles up to 300 Watts of RF power when used with transceivers. The I402X has UHF (SO-239) connectors for input and output connections.
