Radioware's Mini-Mag 2m Antenna is a unique minature design that works on the 144 MHz band! Only 20 inches tall and weighing 2 ounces, this antenna is ideal to bring along with your handheld for occasional use in a vehicle. Just connect the BNC on the cable to your handheld and place the Mini-Mag on the vehicle roof. Great for travelers. The connecting cable consists of 9 ft of RG-174 terminated in a standard BNC male connector. Operates as a 1/4 wave on 144MHz. Handles 50 Watts with a typical VSWR of 1.5:1 over the band. The Mini-Mag features a rare earth magnetic that provides strong holding power in a very small, black-finished tear-drop base design. A Dual-band Mini-Mag for 144 & 440 and a Tri-band Mini-Mag for 144/440/cellular is also available.
