Radioware's Mini-Mag Dual-Band Antenna is a unique minature design that works on the 144 and 440 MHz bands! Only 20 inches tall and weighing 3 ounces, this antenna is ideal to bring along with your handheld for occasional use in a vehicle. Just connect the BNC on the cable to your handheld and place the Mini-Mag on the vehicle roof. Great for travelers. The connecting cable consists of 9 ft of RG-174 terminated in a standard BNC male connector. Operates as a 1/4 wave on 144MHz and a 5/8 wave on 440 MHz. Handles 50 Watts on 144, 25 Watts on 440 with a typical VSWR of 1.5:1 over the bands. The Mini-Mag features a rare earth magnetic that provides strong holding power in a very small, black-finished drop design. For 2m only select the 2m Mini-Mag. A Tri-band Mini-Mag is also available for 144/440/cellular frequencies.
